
Singer Kang Daniel has officially announced that he will be enlisting in the military early next year.
On January 14, his agency ARA confirmed that Kang Daniel will enlist as an active duty Army soldier on February 9, fulfilling his mandatory military service. The announcement comes as fans prepare to temporarily say goodbye to the singer.
Kang Daniel had previously shared his thoughts on enlistment during a press conference for his sixth mini album, saying, “Before I enlist, I want to show as much as I can as a singer,” showing his strong commitment to his career and fans until the very end.
He also revealed that his album Pulsephase, released on December 12, would be his final album before enlistment.
Kang Daniel first rose to fame after winning Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017, later debuting as a member of Wanna One before continuing as a successful solo artist.
As February approaches, fans are showing strong support as Kang Daniel prepares to begin the next chapter of his journey through military service.
