Park Seo Joon’s JTBC drama Surely Tomorrow is seeing a very different response overseas compared to its performance in Korea.
According to global OTT ranking site FlixPatrol, Surely Tomorrow ranked No. 1 in the TV Show category in major Southeast Asian countries, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia.
The drama has also stayed in the Top 10 for 30 consecutive days in countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, showing strong and steady popularity in the region.
The drama’s success is not limited to Southeast Asia. Surely Tomorrow has also entered the Top 10 in countries like Brazil and Egypt, proving its growing global reach and strong overseas demand.
In contrast, the drama continues to face challenges at home. While it remains near the top of the TV Shows category on Coupang Play in Korea, its TV ratings have stayed around the 3% range, indicating a tough domestic performance.
Despite the low ratings in Korea, Surely Tomorrow’s high global rankings highlight Park Seo Joon’s strong international pull and the drama’s clear appeal to overseas viewers.
