Lee Joo Bin is gradually letting herself be drawn to Ahn Bo Hyun in tvN’s hit Monday–Tuesday drama Spring Fever.
Episode 2, which aired on January 6, showed Yoon Bom (Lee Joo Bin) being shaken by the bold and straightforward approach of the rugged Seon Jae Gyu (Ahn Bo Hyun). Fans were captivated as their chemistry and tension unfolded on screen.
The episode recorded average nationwide ratings of 4.6%, peaking at 5.4%, with the metropolitan area at 4.3% average and 5% peak.
Impressively, Spring Fever also ranked No. 1 among the 2049 male and female demographic nationwide, including all channels and paid platforms, according to Nielsen Korea.
In the episode, Seon Jae Gyu visited Yoon Bom’s home under the pretext of the money tree plant he had gifted her.
His words, “Now your name has spread”, and his way of noticing every small gesture, left a strong impression with fans, showing his rough but sincere charm.
After Yoon Bom became emotional following a call with her father, Jae Gyu comforted her in his own way, revealing warmth behind his tough exterior.
Meanwhile, Yoon Bom became the teacher in charge of the energy club where Seon Han Gyeol (Jo Jun Young) and Choi Se Jin (Lee Jae In) are members.
During class, Han Gyeol mentioned that his uncle worked at a power plant. Yoon Bom, who had thought he was unemployed, reacted with surprise, asking, “Your uncle works?”
During a field trip to the power plant, Yoon Bom encountered Seon Jae Gyu again. She vowed not to be influenced by him, but repeated meetings slowly softened her resolve.
Despite thinking, “Today I won’t smile, I won’t enjoy, I won’t be happy”, she couldn’t help but smile, letting him into her heart.
Tension grew when Choi Se Jin, always second in class to Han Gyeol, ran away due to academic pressure.
Yoon Bom and Jae Gyu rushed to Seoul to find her and discovered she was on the subway. In a dramatic moment, they spotted Se Jin with a mysterious man.
Jae Gyu sprinted between stations to catch the subway, creating a thrilling scene that left viewers on edge.
The episode ended with a heart-pounding subway scene as Seon Jae Gyu leapt onto the train just before the doors closed, catching Yoon Bom’s swaying waist in a move reminiscent of a tango.
This moment triggered memories for Yoon Bom of Jae Gyu supporting her in the past, sparking curiosity about their shared history and what comes next for their relationship.
