The hit webtoon Positively Yours, which topped charts for 52 consecutive weeks, is now coming to life as a drama, and fans are eagerly anticipating its first episode.
Jaedam Media confirmed that the drama, based on its popular IP Positively Yours (story by Lee Jeong / art by Kang Gi), will premiere on Channel A as a new Saturday–Sunday drama on January 17 at 10:30 PM.
The story, originally a web novel and webtoon, gained popularity across 10 global platforms, making it one of the most loved Korean stories online.
Positively Yours (written by So Hae Won / directed by Kim Jin Sung) is a romantic comedy about two people who had promised themselves “no marriage,” only to face an unexpected pregnancy after a one-night adventure.
The drama focuses on how these two characters, with very different values, navigate sudden challenges like pregnancy and marriage, showing growth and romance along the way.
Choi Jin Hyuk plays Kang Du Jun, a second-generation chaebol who sacrifices for his family and company after the death of his older brother. Oh Yeon Seo stars as Jang Hee Won, a career-focused woman who has delayed marriage for her dreams, showing strong character portrayal.
The main poster, featuring the tagline “one-night adventure romance”, hints at how these two characters become major influences in each other’s lives, raising curiosity about how their relationship will develop.
Supporting roles include Hong Jong Hyun as Cha Min Wook, Jang Hee Won’s long-time friend, and Kim Da Som as Hwang Mi Ran, a reliable ally, bringing additional energy to the story.
The drama is produced by Media Group Take Two, known for Age of Youth 2 and My Mother is a Daughter-in-Law, alongside Studio PIC, known for Typhoon Company, ensuring high-quality production values.
With the original webtoon dominating 14 platforms, including Naver Series in Korea, expectations for the live-action adaptation are high as fans look forward to seeing their favorite story on screen.
