tvN’s upcoming weekend drama Undercover Miss Hong is already drawing attention even before its premiere, thanks to strong praise from director Park Sun Ho for lead actress Park Shin Hye.
Director Park Sun Ho, who is known for hit dramas such as Business Proposal and Suspicious Partner, shared his thoughts on working with the cast and revealed why the project stood out to him.
He said he was happy to take on the drama after reading the script, explaining that the story he wanted to tell was clearly built within a solid structure.
He especially highlighted the performances of the actors, saying the biggest strength of Undercover Miss Hong lies in its cast.
According to the director, the actors showed detailed and accurate expressions of their characters throughout filming, often leaving him impressed on set.
When speaking about the lead role, Park Sun Ho did not hold back his praise, calling Park Shin Hye “a genius actor who can handle every genre.”
He added that working with her and the rest of the cast made the production process smooth and enjoyable.
Undercover Miss Hong, starring Park Shin Hye, is set to premiere on January 17 at 9:10 PM on tvN.
