BTS member V is once again showing his strong global popularity as Vogue Japan featuring him on the cover sold out during pre orders.

On December 23, Vogue Japan officially announced that V is the cover star for its February issue, set to be released on December 27. As soon as pre orders opened on December 24, the magazine quickly gained attention across major online stores.

Despite being only in the pre order stage, the issue recorded sell outs and bestseller rankings from the very first day.

Japan’s largest online shopping site, Rakuten, soon marked the magazine as “not available for order,” which happens when orders exceed the expected stock before release.

On Amazon Japan, different versions of Vogue Japan featuring V took turns ranking No. 1 and No. 2 in the women’s magazine category.

The magazine also ranked at the top on Seven Net (7net), Vogue Japan’s official domestic online store, as well as RingRingdo, its official international shipping store.

The strong response was not limited to Japan. In Korea, the magazine reached No. 1 in the foreign books category on Yes24, showing V’s wide influence across markets.

In addition, V’s popularity continued online as his interview articles on Vogue Japan’s website ranked No. 1 through No. 3 among the most viewed articles, drawing major attention from readers.

With sold out pre orders and top rankings across multiple platforms, V once again proved his powerful presence as a global star.
