Actor Hyun Bin showed a very realistic and thoughtful side as a father when he was asked about his son’s future dream.
On December 20, a video titled “This time, Bin can bring something to Ye Jin♡” was uploaded on the YouTube channel Fairy Jae Hyung. Set in a warm Christmas atmosphere, Hyun Bin spent time chatting comfortably with Jung Jae Hyung, who personally prepared food for him and served oyster gratin at the table.
During the conversation, Jung Jae Hyung suddenly asked,
“What would you do if your son becomes an elementary school student and says, ‘Dad, I want to be an actor’?”
Caught off guard, Hyun Bin paused for a moment and let out a sigh, replying,
“Ha… let me serve some food first. I need a bit of time to think.”
His honest reaction drew laughter and highlighted the contrast between his image as a top star and his role as a parent who finds it hard to give an easy answer when it comes to his child’s future.
The relaxed and heartwarming mood continued as Jung Jae Hyung prepared strawberry clafoutis for dessert and casually mentioned packing food to take home, saying it would be nice for Hyun Bin’s son and for Son Ye Jin to try. His natural care toward Hyun Bin’s family added warmth to the moment.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin first met through the film The Negotiation and later worked together in the drama Crash Landing on You.
Their relationship developed into romance, and the couple got married in March 2022.
They welcomed their son in November of the same year, drawing continued attention to their family life.
