Idol group VERIVERY has finally achieved their long-awaited first-place win on KBS 2TV Music Bank, ending a 2 year and 7 month wait in the music scene.

On December 12, VERIVERY’s title track “RED (Beggin’)” topped the Music Bank “K-Chart” for the second week of December (December 1–7), scoring a total of 6,238 points. The score included digital points, broadcast frequency, K-POP fan votes, album sales, and social media points, showing the group’s strong overall influence.

The track, from their fourth single album Lost and Found, is an interpolation of The Four Seasons’ classic “Beggin’”, reimagined with VERIVERY’s own style, appealing to both older music fans and younger short-form generations.Due to the 2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan, the show replaced its regular broadcast with a special performance from Lisbon.

Although VERIVERY could not appear on the live stage, they celebrated their first-place win through a live broadcast, saying, “Breaking news. Today, VERIVERY achieved 1st place on Music Bank”, and performed a celebratory song. They also thanked their fandom VERRER, their agency, staff, and parents for their support during the comeback.

Because the group missed performing on the main stage, they later held a live encore performance to share the moment with fans.

VERIVERY is set to appear on MBC’s Show! Music Core on December 13, with the youngest member Kang Min joining as a special MC.
