SHINee’s Key caught fans’ attention by appearing in both a pre-recorded VCR and the studio of I Live Alone, showing his caring and hands-on side despite the show’s recent shake-up following Park Na Rae’s departure.

In the episode aired on December 12, Key visited French dancer Kani’s home to meet Kani and her mother-in-law.

During the visit, Key helped prepare 70 heads of kimchi, even pulling radishes from the garden himself.

About the visit, he said, “I always receive help, so I wanted to give back. I also wanted to learn the kimchi-making method.”

Key also joined the studio segment, watching his VCR and sharing comments with the rainbow members Jeon Hyun Moo, Kian84, Code Kunst, Lee Joo Seung, and Koo Sung Hwan.

He did not participate in the show’s opening recording due to his ongoing U.S. solo tour 2025 KEYLAND: UN CANNY VALLEY, which has been performing in major North American cities including LA, Oakland, Dallas-Fort Worth, Brooklyn, Chicago, and Seattle since December 3 and continues until December 15. His tour schedule also caused him to miss the December 12 recording of tvN’s Amazing Saturday.

Despite the absence of long-time member Park Na Rae following her departure from the show, Key’s pre-recorded VCR and studio presence brought warmth and energy, reminding fans of his thoughtful and playful personality.
