BIGBANG member Daesung shared a memorable behind the scenes story as he reunited with Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon after 15 years.
On the December 13 episode of tvN’s Amazing Saturday, Daesung appeared as a guest and talked about the long history between second generation idol groups BIGBANG and Girls’ Generation.
Seeing Taeyeon again after many years, he warmly recalled their past connection.
Daesung looked back on their time together on the SBS variety show Family Outing, joking, “Is this my first time seeing Yeon after 15 years?”
He then revealed that there was once talk of a love line between them, saying, “There almost was a love line back then.”
However, he explained that he personally turned it down, adding, “I told the PD, ‘I don’t think this is right.’ I didn’t think it was right for Yeon.”
He also shared that this was their first meeting since that time, and the two greeted each other with a friendly handshake, bringing smiles and nostalgia to viewers.
