Nam Goong Min has officially returned to the spotlight after three years, bringing back his hit One Dollar Lawyer character for a special appearance that instantly grabbed attention.
During the latest broadcast of SBS’s Wednesday–Thursday drama Dynamite Kiss, Episode 9 recorded strong numbers with 6.4 percent nationwide ratings, 6.3 percent in Seoul, and a peak of 7.5 percent.
The key 20–49 rating also hit 2.2 percent at its highest, proving the drama’s continued buzz among young viewers.
This special episode became an even hotter topic thanks to Nam Goong Min and Kim Ji Eun, who reunited with director Kim Jae Hyun and appeared as Cheon Ji Hoon and Baek Ma Ri — their famous roles from One Dollar Lawyer.
Their surprise cameo quickly drew excitement from fans who have been waiting for Nam Goong Min’s return.
One Dollar Lawyer was a major hit during its run, reaching a massive 15.2 percent in ratings, but it suddenly ended early after being cut from 14 to 12 episodes. Even with rumors back then, SBS stated clearly that none of those claims were true.
Now, with Nam Goong Min’s return through Cheon Byeon, viewers are once again talking about the actor’s undeniable impact and how his brief appearance boosted the drama’s buzz.
