Actor Lee Jun Ho recently opened up about the close and playful chemistry he shared with Moo Jin Sung while filming the tvN weekend drama Typhoon Family, which concluded on November 30. In a recent interview at a café in Seongdong gu, Seoul, he shared funny and memorable moments from the set.
Typhoon Family is set during the 1997 IMF crisis and follows Kang Tae Pung (played by Lee Jun Ho), a rookie office worker who suddenly becomes the president of a struggling trading company with no staff, no money, and nothing to sell.
Lee Jun Ho also reflected on working with co-star Kim Min Ha, who played Oh Mi Seon, a numbers genius and the backbone of the company. He said, “I spent 7–8 months with Kim Min Ha before filming the romance scenes. At first, I was worried about filming romance in such a friendly environment, but once we started, all that anxiety disappeared.”

Talking about his scenes with Moo Jin Sung, who played Pyo Hyeong Jun, Kang Tae Pung’s self-proclaimed rival, Lee Jun Ho joked, “I was so close to Moo Jin Sung that it almost felt like we were filming a romance. We even joked about it on set. When we faced each other, we growled and got so close it seemed like we might kiss. Yet we never touched, which made it ticklish.”
He continued, “I could see Moo Jin Sung’s lips and eyes right in front of me. I could even see my reflection in his eyes. As soon as they said ‘cut,’ we laughed so hard. If there were a spin-off, it would have been fun to show why Tae Pung and Hyeong Jun ended up like that.”
The interview highlighted Lee Jun Ho’s lighthearted behind-the-scenes experiences and the playful dynamic that made Typhoon Family’s romance and rivalry moments so memorable.
