Actress Kim Hee Sun is receiving praise for her kindness after gifting a luxury brand outfit to child actor Kim Se Ung.
The young actor’s mother shared on social media, “Actress Kim Hee Sun gave such a precious gift. She’s really Na Jung’s mom to us,” along with several photos of Kim Se Ung holding the clothes.
She explained, “Clothes from Baby Dior? Really… thank you so much for such a generous gift, our Na Jung mom. She has also often given toys on set and truly cared for our child with love.”
The mother continued, “Whenever we met on set, she always welcomed my son with open arms. During breaks, she even wrote letters (we will keep them as keepsakes), played origami and paper airplanes with him, and let him ride and play in her van. Even if she couldn’t play herself, she encouraged the kids to have fun.”
She added, “When Se Ung had many lines, she called him to the waiting room to practice the script together, taught him acting, and praised him a lot. Thanks to her, Se Ung gained confidence and improved in his acting.”
Sharing more of Kim Hee Sun’s generosity, she said, “We could talk about Na Jung mom all night because of her kindness. At the wrap party, she said, ‘I bought clothes for our kids~ I’ll send them home’, and hearing ‘our kids’ really showed her genuine motherly care. From summer until just before winter, she became Min Woo’s real mom. We are truly grateful.”
The mother concluded, “We can’t let go of Na Jung mom. There’s Don't Call Me Ma'am, so we will cherish her in our hearts. Everyone, you must see Kim Hee Sun’s real mom performance.”
Kim Hee Sun and Kim Se Ung are currently starring together in the TV Chosun Monday-Tuesday drama Don't Call Me Ma'am, which tells the comedic story of three forty-one-year-old friends navigating daily life, childcare, and work while searching for a better life.
