Singer DinDin is opening up about the pressure of suddenly being labeled a “responsible celebrity,” revealing that he’s doing everything he can to stay grounded.

DinDin recently appeared on the YouTube show Salon Drip, where he talked about how the public’s view of him has changed overnight. He shared, “I suddenly became a ‘responsible celebrity.’ People used to dislike me even when I was just breathing, but now when I say the same things, they call me responsible.”

He also talked about a moment when he slipped and made a comment during the World Cup, saying it taught him an important lesson. “I learned that if you start chasing unrealistic ideas, you’ll lose your mind. So now I’m trying to stay in the same stance,” he explained.

DinDin added that even though he’s happy about the love he’s getting, he’s careful not to let it control him. “I used to live drunk on popularity, and falling from it hurt a lot. I tell myself that this popularity isn’t mine and that shows and views can disappear anytime.”

Because of his honest and grounded comments, many fans began calling him an “icon of value,” a label he finds both funny and surprising. DinDin said he simply wants people to understand that he works hard for his money and spends it responsibly.

As he continues to receive attention for his realistic approach to fame, DinDin says he’s keeping his distance from unrealistic expectations — and staying true to himself.
