Actor Kwon Han Sol is winning over viewers with her lively yet heartwarming performance as Oh Mi Ho in tvN’s weekend drama Typhoon Family.

In the 11th episode, Mi Ho’s cheerful and honest personality really stood out. Working as an elevator guide at a department store, she lightened the mood with her professional announcements. When an employee worried that a run in her stockings might bring bad luck, Mi Ho joked, “This side has a run too,” showing her playful and spirited side.

Mi Ho’s caring nature also shone through when she gently fixed a stray hairpin from Eul Nyeo’s (Park Sung Yeon) headscarf, saying with a bright smile, “Managers really dislike these things. We work hard, so we don’t want unnecessary nagging.” Fans loved seeing her warm personality in everyday moments.

In the 12th episode, Mi Ho faced opposition from Eul Nyeo regarding her relationship with Nam Mo. When Eul Nyeo firmly explained that poverty is like an undocumented joint guarantee, Mi Ho was left speechless. Later, Nam Mo asked why she stayed silent, and Mi Ho tearfully said, “She’s your mom. Yes, I’m extremely poor, but I’ve never asked anyone for help, never taken what’s not mine. My grandmother raised me that way… But why is my family treated like we’re nothing? What makes you so special?” Her heartfelt words left fans emotional.

Kwon Han Sol perfectly balances Mi Ho’s confident exterior with her warm inner side, making the character even more lovable. Fans have praised her performance, commenting, “Mi Ho is the best,” “I cried with Mi Ho’s tears,” and “Mi Ho’s acting is so good, it’s immersive.”

Typhoon Family, starring Kwon Han Sol, airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM KST on tvN.
