Cha Eun Woo’s younger brother, Lee Dong Hwi, is making headlines as he develops an AI program inspired by his older brother and the challenges celebrities face online.
On the 16th, a video was uploaded on the YouTube channel Sebasi Lecture, where Unbound Lab CEO Jo Yong Min introduced Korea’s largest AI event, the AI Summit.
Jo Yong Min explained, “We are sharing a solution that our researcher has almost completed developing,” and added, “At the event, I will present with the researcher who planned and developed our solution. It is not a commercial solution at this stage.”
He then introduced Lee Dong Hwi, Cha Eun Woo’s younger brother, calling him “a genius” and noting that he originally studied media.

Lee Dong Hwi shared, “I studied media in China and worked in advertising. After talking with the CEO about personal concerns, I joined the planning and development of this project.”
He continued, “Since I’ve lived a life somewhat close to celebrities, I focused on their concerns and interests. For example, I noticed they worry about how to communicate well with fans.”

He also explained that entertainment companies and brands often struggle with collecting and managing data, which inspired him to create a solution to help with this process.
Lee Dong Hwi added that he has seen celebrities suffer from malicious comments online, saying, “There is so much media that excessive malicious comments are common,” and expressed his goal to build a system that can help protect them.
This project highlights how Lee Dong Hwi is combining his expertise in AI with personal insight into the entertainment world to create tools that support celebrities in dealing with challenges online.
