Actor Park Bo Gum recently shared his thoughts on what it really means to be a good actor.
Park Bo Gum appeared as the cover model for the December issue of Arena Homme Plus, working with French luxury brand Celine.
In the photoshoot, he captured many sides of youth—from a bright, transparent smile to the excitement of facing something new, and even a serious, focused gaze. Each moment of youth was vividly shown in the photos.
In the interview, Park Bo Gum reflected on his busy year. He said, “I’m happy that people remembered the works released this year and the characters I played."
He added, “I could spend time with those who bring pauses to daily life through late-night music shows, and I could meet lifelong friends from the ‘Bo Gum Welfare Department’ in different countries. This year will stay as a happy time for me.”
He then shared his personal thoughts about being a good actor. “I think a good actor is someone who can portray lives they haven’t lived and create understanding and empathy. It’s even better if it helps people with different perspectives understand each other or broadens how they see the world.”
He added, “I want to be an actor that viewers want to watch again and again, and a colleague that other actors want to work with. I’m walking in that direction”, he said.
