Fans of the hit Korean movie ‘A Werewolf Boy’ have exciting news as a Philippine remake has officially been confirmed!

On November 11, Viva Communication signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Milagro to begin production of the new version of the beloved film.

The original 2012 movie made stars out of Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Young, becoming the highest-grossing romance film in South Korea at the time.

For the Philippine remake, popular local couple Rabin Angeles and Angela Cecilia Muji will take on their first lead roles. Rabin Angeles will play the Werewolf Boy, while Angela Cecilia Muji will play Suni.

Together, they are set to bring fresh emotions and new interpretations to the story while keeping the magic of the original. Veteran actress Lorna Tolentino and other seasoned actors will also join to strengthen the cast.

The film will be directed by Crisanto Aquino, known for ‘Instant Daddy’ and ‘My Future You’, and will be co-produced by Viva Films, Studio Viva, and CJ Entertainment.

Fans are already excited to see how this beloved Korean story will be reimagined for Philippine audiences.
