Actor Jo Jung Suk is melting hearts with his touching confession about his wife Gummy and their soon-to-be second child.

During his appearance on the November 9 episode of SBS’s “My Little Old Boy,” Jo Jung Suk opened up about how much he loves and appreciates his wife.

Host Shin Dong Yup teased him, saying, “You sing well, act well, and even raise your kids well. Your second child is on the way. You once said you had no plans for another baby — did heaven just bless you?”

Jo Jung Suk smiled and replied, “Yes, it was truly a blessing from heaven. While I was filming ‘Zombie Daughter’ in Namhae, my wife suddenly called and said, ‘Should we try for a second child?’ I was so shocked that I stood up from my seat.”

He added with a laugh, “I really wanted to go straight to Seoul that day. I was so happy and thankful. I once told Shin Dong Yup privately that I wanted a second child, but I couldn’t say it out loud because my wife went through a lot during her first pregnancy.”

Jo Jung Suk also shared a sweet story behind their baby’s nickname. “Someone asked me if I had ever seen a four-leaf clover, and I said no. Then I found one and laminated it. The next day, Gummy also found one. Not long after, we found out we were having another baby — so our baby’s nickname is ‘Clover.’”

His heartfelt story quickly warmed viewers’ hearts, showing once again Jo Jung Suk’s deep love and gratitude toward Gummy and their growing family.
