Kang Tae Oh and Kim Se Jeong are winning hearts with their powerful chemistry in MBC’s new historical drama Moon River. In the upcoming episode, the two stars will join forces for a thrilling mission that could change both of their fates.

In episode 2, airing on November 8, Crown Prince Lee Gang (played by Kang Tae Oh) and merchant Park Dal Yi (played by Kim Se Jeong) find themselves working together to save a young widow who is being forced to take her own life.

Park Dal Yi travels bravely to the capital city of Hanyang after receiving a desperate request from Heo Yeong Gam (Choi Deok Moon) to rescue his daughter. Despite warnings from her aunt not to get involved, Dal Yi refuses to turn away from injustice.

Her journey leads her straight into the path of Crown Prince Lee Gang — a man still haunted by the death of his beloved crown princess. When he meets Dal Yi, who looks exactly like his late wife, he’s left deeply shaken.

Their fateful encounter quickly grows more complicated when Dal Yi accidentally falls into his arms while escaping danger.

New stills from the episode show Dal Yi holding Heo Yeong Gam’s daughter’s hand as they flee through the dark night. With a fierce look and a wooden stick in hand, she shows her determination to protect the innocent.

But just as danger closes in, Crown Prince Lee Gang appears, calm and commanding, ready to protect her.

Viewers are eagerly waiting to see how the two will work together and whether they can save the young widow caught in a deadly trap.

Episode 2 of Moon River airs at 9:50 p.m. KST on November 8.
