Park Bom surprises fans with new selfie just weeks after accusing Yang Hyun Suk of unpaid earnings

Singer Park Bom has returned to social media two weeks after making headlines with her complaint against YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk.

On November 6, Park Bom posted a photo with the simple caption “Park Bom.” In the picture, she is seen lying down with pink lipstick and bold eyeliner, taking a close-up selfie — her first update since the controversy.

Just two weeks earlier, on October 22, Park Bom surprised fans when she uploaded what appeared to be an official complaint document, accusing Yang Hyun Suk of fraud and embezzlement. She claimed that she had not received her rightful earnings from her time as a 2NE1 member.

At the time, she stated, “The accused did not pay the profits that were rightfully owed to me for a long period of time. I request a thorough investigation and legal punishment.” She also claimed that YG failed to pay her profits from various activities such as music, performances, broadcasts, and advertisements, saying, “Despite this, YG Entertainment did not provide any financial records or make a single legitimate payment.”

However, D-Nation Entertainment, Park Bom’s current agency, clarified on October 23 that “the settlement related to her 2NE1 activities has already been completed,” adding that “the complaint document uploaded on social media was never officially filed.”

The agency also addressed her current state, saying, “Park Bom has suspended all activities to focus on treatment and recovery. She is emotionally unstable and urgently needs rest and care.” D-Nation further asked the public and media to refrain from spreading unverified claims to prevent further misunderstandings.

Park Bom debuted with 2NE1 under YG Entertainment in 2009, leaving the company after the group’s disbandment in 2016. She later continued her solo career under D-Nation Entertainment and recently reunited with 2NE1 for an Asia tour before going on hiatus due to health reasons.
