Fantagio, the agency of singer and actor Cha Eun Woo, has officially apologized after a recent event led to confusion and unintended phone calls.
On November 5, Fantagio released a statement on Cha Eun Woo’s official channel titled “ARS VOICE Contact Information Notice.”
The agency explained that the phone number used for the ARS VOICE event promoting Cha Eun Woo’s second mini album ELSE was 070-8919-0330, but some fans mistakenly dialed the wrong number, causing unrelated people to receive numerous calls.
Fantagio stated, “Recently, some users entered the wrong number and called other lines. We sincerely apologize to anyone who was affected by this mistake.”
The apology came after the agency’s special ARS event on November 4, where fans could call the official number to hear a pre-recorded message from Cha Eun Woo himself.
The event quickly went viral, receiving over 100,000 calls within hours. However, it also caused inconvenience to people who owned phone numbers similar to the official one.
Fans appreciated the agency’s quick response and apology, while still expressing excitement for Cha Eun Woo’s upcoming album ELSE, which is set to be released on November 21.
