BTS’s Jimin once again showed his warm and playful side — and this time, his cute interaction with a cat took over the internet.
During his birthday livestream on Weverse on October 13, Jimin shared, “These days, I often watch YouTube Shorts,” and played a cat video for a few seconds. Fans quickly recognized the cat as Cheomji, the famous feline from the YouTube channel Underworld.
After fans posted clips of “BTS Jimin watching a cat video,” the moment spread like wildfire on social media. Seeing the attention, the owner of Underworld uploaded a fun reaction video on Instagram, saying, “A cat preparing for a world tour. The world-class BTS Jimin sunbaenim gave us a shoutout. Shoutout!”
Jimin soon noticed the post and responded with his signature humor. On Instagram, he wrote, “Cheomji, I’ll look forward to ‘Meow, Sweat & Tears,’” referencing BTS’s hit song Blood Sweat & Tears. Soon after, Cheomji’s channel posted a hilarious video of the cat “singing” Meow, Sweat & Tears — and Jimin left a comment saying “Pass,” which fans took as his stamp of approval.
The funny exchange didn’t stop there. Underworld released another video titled Sales King of the Month, showing Cheomji receiving stacks of ₩50,000 bills, while other cats only got ₩5,000 gift cards. The caption joked, “Global subscribers have skyrocketed — this is our company’s biggest success!” and even added, “Cheomji-min! Cheomji-min!” — mixing the names Cheomji and Jimin.
Fans couldn’t get enough of their “Meow, Sweat & Tears” collab, calling it “the cutest crossover ever.” Comments poured in like, “Let’s debut Cheomji as the 8th BTS member,” and “Jimin and Cheomji’s chemistry is unbeatable.”
What started as a random shoutout turned into one of the most heartwarming and viral idol moments of the month — earning Jimin the unofficial title of Sales King of the Month.
