Actress Kim Hye Yoon might be teaming up with Jang Na Ra in the upcoming second season of the popular SBS drama Good Partner.
On November 5, Kim Hye Yoon’s agency Artist Company confirmed, “Kim Hye Yoon received an offer to appear in Good Partner 2 and is currently reviewing it.”
The first season of Good Partner gained huge attention for its refreshing take on the world of divorce lawyers, following Cha Eun Kyung (played by Jang Na Ra), a sharp star attorney, and Han Yu Ri, a rookie lawyer taking on divorce cases for the first time.
The drama reached an impressive 17.7% viewership rating and earned Jang Na Ra the Grand Prize (Daesang) at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards.
If Kim Hye Yoon joins the cast, fans are already expecting strong on-screen chemistry between her and Jang Na Ra. Viewers are curious to see how Kim Hye Yoon’s youthful charm and emotional acting could add a new layer to the hit legal series.
Production company Studio&New shared that the new season will feature “an expanded world and a deeper story that will connect with viewers,” aiming for a broadcast in the second half of next year.
With Kim Hye Yoon currently on a roll with multiple projects, including her upcoming SBS drama I Am Human From Today, anticipation is high to see if she’ll officially become Jang Na Ra’s new partner in Good Partner 2.
