Singer Roy Kim had an adorable reaction when fans compared him to rising actor Choo Young Woo.
During his appearance on SBS PowerFM’s 2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show on November 4, Roy Kim was told by a listener that he and Choo Young Woo not only sound alike but also look similar.
Blushing at the comment, Roy Kim said, “It’s the first time I’ve ever heard that. I’m thankful if people see it that way, but honestly, Young Woo is more handsome.”
He continued with a laugh, “When you see him in person, he’s tall and makes you think, ‘This is what a sculpture looks like.’ Actors are really different.”
Fans praised Roy Kim’s humble and genuine response, saying it showed his sweet personality. Many also loved the friendship between the two stars, especially since Choo Young Woo had previously covered Roy Kim’s song “Even When Spring Comes” and received praise for it.
