BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) had a heartwarming reunion with a longtime fan — and fans are calling it a real-life fairytale.
At the “2025 Vogue World: Hollywood” event in Los Angeles on October 26, V stole the spotlight among Hollywood stars and fashion icons with his stunning visuals and unmatched charisma.
But what really caught attention wasn’t just his appearance — it was a touching encounter with a fan who had supported him since BTS’s debut days.
The fan, a designer named Elena, shared that she had been an ARMY since 2013, when she first saw BTS perform at the Uljin Festival. She recalled, “Back then, BTS were rookies, and EXO’s ‘Growl’ was everywhere. I was the only BTS fan in my whole school.”
She added, “Because there weren’t many fans, I got to see them up close, especially at fan sign events. I went to two of them in 2014. At one, V told me, ‘If you post on the fan site, I’ll leave a comment.’ So I started writing regularly — and he really replied with screenshots of my letters.”
Elena also shared a sweet memory: “V once asked fans for winter song recommendations, and I suggested Adele’s ‘Someone Like You.’ Later, he said he listened to it after reading my message — and on his birthday that same year, he gifted fans with a cover of the song.”
More than a decade later, fate brought them together again — this time at one of the biggest fashion events in the world.
Elena wrote, “Tonight is definitely a night that 15-year-old Elena could never have dreamed of. After 11 years, I got to meet V again and tell him I was that same fan.”
Fans everywhere were moved by the story, calling it “a scene straight out of a movie.” Many praised V for his kindness and humility, even after becoming a global superstar.
