BTOB’s Lee Chang Sub and MAMAMOO’s Solar are clearing the air about their rumored romance — and their hilarious explanation has fans laughing.
On the October 28 episode of SBS’s “Dolsing Fourmen”, the two idols appeared together and addressed the recent dating buzz that started after a behind-the-scenes video showed them being touchy and comfortable around each other during their musical rehearsals.
Lee Chang Sub explained, “That was Solar’s musical debut stage. When we met, I had already done several shows. I knew how nerve-racking it could be to debut in a musical, so I was nervous for her too.”
When asked if he ever had romantic feelings toward her, Lee Chang Sub immediately denied it. He said, “Never. When we were doing the musical Mata Hari, we appeared on a variety show, and Solar even said, ‘It’s gross that I have to kiss him.’”
Caught off guard, Solar quickly corrected him, saying, “I didn’t say it was gross,” while Lee Chang Sub teased back, “You went ‘bleh,’ though,” making everyone burst into laughter.
When host Lee Sang Min asked what the kiss scene actually felt like, Lee Chang Sub gave a funny yet honest answer: “When you actually do it, it just feels like two pieces of meat bumping together.”
Fans praised both idols for their honesty and humor, saying their natural chemistry comes from friendship, not romance.
