BTS’s Jungkook has achieved another major milestone with his song “Stay Alive”, which has now surpassed 360 million streams on Spotify, showing his unstoppable global popularity.
Released in 2022 as the official soundtrack for the webtoon 7FATES: CHAKHO, “Stay Alive” has continued to attract listeners worldwide, even though it’s a Korean webtoon OST.
The song made an impressive debut, recording 4.27 million filtered streams on its first day and entering Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart at No. 3, the highest debut ever by a Korean solo artist at that time.

“Stay Alive” also made history as the first Korean webtoon OST to enter the Billboard Hot 100 (No. 95) and the first Korean OST to rank on the UK Official Singles Chart (No. 89). On Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, it became the first K-pop idol solo song to stay at No. 1 for two straight weeks.
On iTunes, the song also made waves — hitting No. 1 in 100 countries within 45 hours, expanding to 104 countries in just over three days, and 107 countries within 23 days. It even topped the Worldwide iTunes Songs Chart for five consecutive days.
Fans praised Jungkook’s emotional and powerful vocals in the track, with many saying his expressive tone and detailed delivery brought the lyrics to life and proved his talent as a true vocalist.

With “Stay Alive,” Jungkook now has eight solo songs with over 360 million Spotify streams, including:
- “Seven” (2.61 billion)
- “Standing Next to You” (1.32 billion)
- “Left and Right” (1.12 billion)
- “3D” (1.04 billion)
- “Dreamers” (500 million)
- “Still With You” (370 million)
- “Euphoria” (660 million)
In total, Jungkook’s Spotify streams have reached 9.8 billion, making him the fastest Asian artist and first K-pop soloist to achieve such numbers. He also holds the record for having five songs with over 600 million streams — the most among all K-pop solo artists.
