NCT’s Johnny has canceled his upcoming trip to Thailand following the passing of Thailand’s Queen Mother Sirikit.

On October 27, event officials confirmed that Johnny was originally scheduled to fly to Bangkok on October 29 to attend the grand opening of the Acne Studios store.

However, due to the recent passing of Queen Mother Sirikit, all related local events have been canceled out of respect during the national mourning period, and Johnny will no longer be departing for Thailand.

Queen Mother Sirikit passed away on October 24 (local time) at the age of 93 after battling a blood infection. The Thai government has since declared a period of national mourning, resulting in the suspension of several scheduled events in the country.

Despite the cancellation, Johnny remains active in his global activities as both an NCT member and a DJ and fashion personality.

He continues to attract attention for his charm and sense of humor on various variety shows and YouTube content.

Additionally, Johnny is set to appear in SBS’s new variety program Hot-Blooded Basketball Team: Rising Eagles, which will premiere on November 29.
