Singer-songwriter Lee Mu Jin is showing there’s no limit to his talent as he officially expands his career into music production, earning praise for his growing versatility.
After catching attention in May with his hit digital single “Bbird” (Bbaebsae), Lee Mu Jin has been taking bold steps as a producer, working on songs for other artists and widening his musical range. His recent collaborations have continued to receive strong positive reactions from fans and listeners.
One of his latest works is “Time Capsule”, the new song by beloved vocal duo Davichi (Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung). Released on October 16, the medium-tempo ballad beautifully blends Lee Mu Jin’s heartfelt production with Davichi’s signature emotional vocals.
The song, which recalls childhood memories and the passing of time, has been praised for its simple yet touching melody and lyrics.
Not stopping there, Lee Mu Jin also took part in Lee Chang Sub’s mini 2nd album title track “Jureureu”, released on October 22.
The ballad compares the sadness of lost love to the sound of rain, combining Lee Mu Jin’s emotional production style with Lee Chang Sub’s rich and delicate vocals for a perfect harmony.
As if that weren’t enough, Lee Mu Jin has also been active as a singer and performer. He joined BIG Naughty’s single “Bye Bye” in September as both producer and featuring artist, and he’s lending his voice to the OST of KBS2’s upcoming weekend drama “Last Summer”, set to be released on October 28.
With his growing presence not only as a producer and singer-songwriter, but also as a variety show favorite, Lee Mu Jin continues to prove his limitless talent and charm — solidifying his place as one of Korea’s most well-rounded artists.
