Even after a decade, fans still can’t get enough of Splash Splash Love.

The movie version of the beloved fantasy romance starring Yoon Doo Joon and Kim Seul Gi has officially surpassed 10,000 cumulative viewers, showing the drama’s timeless popularity.

Originally aired ten years ago, Splash Splash Love tells the story of Dan Bi, a high school senior who has given up on math.

On the day of her college entrance exam, she mysteriously travels back to the Joseon era during a drought and meets King Do, a ruler eager to learn mathematics. What begins as a strange encounter soon turns into a heartfelt romance.

To mark its 10th anniversary, the film was re-released on October 9 (Hangul Day) as a special tribute to King Sejong, the historical figure who inspired the story.

Tickets sold out immediately, and fans were thrilled to see Yoon Doo Joon, Kim Seul Gi, and director Kim Ji Hyun appear for a special greeting and talk session at the event.

Thanks to the overwhelming response, the movie’s limited two-week run has now been extended for another week (October 23–29), giving fans another chance to relive the magical love story that captured hearts 10 years ago.
