Super Junior’s Yesung has shared deeply emotional news that has moved fans to tears.
On October 22, Yesung revealed through social media that his cherished dog Melo had passed away.
Along with several touching photos, he wrote a heartfelt message expressing his grief and everlasting love for his furry companion.
He began, “On a quiet afternoon, when sunlight comes through the cracks of the door, it still feels like you’re there wagging your tail.
Our Melo, the kindest and prettiest in the world. This house is still filled with your warmth even though you’re no longer here.”
Yesung went on to express his regret and deep affection, saying, “I didn’t even know you were sick because I was far away. But even then, you smiled brightly like always. On our last walk together, there was only gratitude in your eyes.”
Reflecting on their bond, he added, “I thought I was the one giving you love, but when I look back, I realize I received so much more. Your short life filled my whole lifetime, and your warmth still stays in the center of my days. Love doesn’t disappear — it just changes form and stays by your side like this.”
He ended his message with a heartfelt goodbye: “Melo, the love you left me is still full inside of me. Thank you so much for coming into my world. When we meet again someday, I’ll be the one to run to you first and hug you. Until then, rest peacefully in heaven. I miss you so much, my love, Melo.”
Yesung also shared his concern for his father, who had spent the most time with their pets, saying, “My father, who spent more time with our dogs than anyone else, has now lost his daughter. I can’t imagine how he must be feeling. Please stay strong.”
