Singer Dawn opened up about his honest thoughts on love and relationships during his guest appearance on TVING’s reality show Transit Love 4.
The October 22 episodes marked Dawn’s first TV appearance since completing his military service, and he chose Transit Love 4 as his comeback project.
During the show, host Lee Yong Jin asked if Dawn leaned more toward meeting new people or reuniting with an ex, since the program centers on both.
In response, Dawn candidly shared, “I’ve never contacted an ex, not even once. Even if they reached out, I never replied."
He added, "I can’t really understand that. When you break up, it’s over. Even if you meet again, it’s something you already gave up on, so I think those same feelings would come back.”
Later in the episode, when a female participant became emotional after seeing her ex get close to someone else, Lee Yong Jin asked if Dawn could relate. With a gentle smile, he admitted, “I think I can understand that feeling.”
Fans praised Dawn for his honesty and maturity, with many saying his calm and reflective answers showed how much he’s grown since his past relationship with HyunA, which ended in November 2022 after six years together.
