A Chinese woman in her 30s who attempted to break into BTS Jungkook’s home has reportedly received a suspension of indictment, meaning she won’t face formal charges.
On October 22, the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office confirmed that the woman, identified only as A, was under investigation for attempted trespassing at Jungkook’s residence.
Prosecutors decided not to pursue the case further, stating that the attempt was unsuccessful and that A has already returned to China, making the risk of repeating the offense low.
According to reports, the woman visited Jungkook’s home around 11:20 p.m. on June 11, the very day he was discharged from the military.
She allegedly pressed the front door password multiple times, which prompted the police to respond and arrest her at the scene.
During questioning, A reportedly told the police that she came to Korea just to see Jungkook in person.
Fans expressed concern after hearing about the case, emphasizing the need for stronger security and respect for artists’ privacy.
