BTS member Jungkook continues to make history with his solo debut song Seven. According to the latest Billboard chart dated October 18, Seven ranked No. 143 on the Global 200, marking its 116th week on the chart.

This sets a new record as the longest-running entry for any song by an Asian group or solo artist.

On the Global (Excluding U.S.) chart, Seven ranked No. 88, making Jungkook the first Asian solo artist to chart for 117 consecutive weeks.

Previously, Seven topped the Global (Excluding U.S.) chart for 9 straight weeks and the Global 200 for 7 consecutive weeks, becoming the first Asian artist to simultaneously hold No. 1 on both charts for 7 weeks.

The song also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the main U.S. singles chart, staying on the chart for 15 weeks. In the UK Official Top 100, Seven debuted at No. 3, setting a record as the first K-pop solo song to remain for 14 weeks.

On Spotify, Seven charted for 118 weeks on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart, breaking records for Asian solo artists.

It also became the first Asian song to surpass 2.59 billion streams and is steadily heading toward 2.6 billion streams.

Jungkook’s continued success with Seven highlights his global influence as both a K-pop artist and a solo performer.
