BTS's Jimin Overtakes BTS's Jin and BIGBANG's G-Dragon in October boy group brand rankings

BTS members continue to dominate the brand reputation charts as new big data analysis for October 2025 reveals BTS Jimin ranked 1st, BTS Jin ranked 2nd, and BIGBANG G-Dragon ranked 3rd in boy group individual brand reputation.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 66,896,208 pieces of big data from 755 boy group members between September 18 and October 18, 2025.

They measured participation, media coverage, communication, and community interaction to calculate each member’s overall brand reputation. Compared to September’s 75,263,194 data points, this marks an 11.12% decrease.

Brand reputation indexes show how consumer behavior online affects an artist’s influence. This analysis considered both positive and negative evaluations, media interest, and fan engagement. It also included brand value assessment and qualitative monitoring, with recommendation indicators weighted in.

BTS V – Brand reputation index 3,161,641 (Participation 110,856 | Media 517,525 | Communication 1,211,008 | Community 1,322,252) – up 22.78%

BTS Jungkook – Brand reputation index 3,153,037 (Participation 113,159 | Media 117,256 | Communication 1,585,949 | Community 1,336,672) – down 15.12%

Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute director Koo Chang Hwan commented, “BTS Jimin ranked 1st in October 2025 for boy group individual brand reputation. Compared to September, overall big data decreased by 11.12%. Brand consumption dropped 14.81%, brand issues decreased 13.69%, brand communication decreased 7.10%, and brand spread dropped 11.44%.”

He added, “Jimin’s brand showed high scores in link analysis for ‘congratulate, soft, donate’ and in keyword analysis for ‘Who, ARMY, birthday.’ The positive sentiment ratio was 91.43%.”

The top 100 list also includes BTS RM, Wanna One Kang Daniel, EXO Baek Hyun, NCT Mark, SHINee Key, Seventeen Hoshi, ATEEZ San, and many more, showing how K-pop idols continue to dominate both online and media influence.
