On the October 12 episode of SBS’s variety show Running Man, actor Yang Se Jong shared a candid story about giving allowance to his mother, showing his caring side. The episode also featured actors Kim Kang Woo, Byun Yo Han, and Bang Hyo Rin.
During the show, Yoo Jae Seok asked Yang Se Jong, “What kind of son are you at home?” He replied, “Most of the time, when my mother calls, it’s because she needs money,” making viewers laugh and relate.
When Ji Suk Jin asked if he gave her a lot, Yang Se Jong said, “I give an appropriate amount, thinking about next month and beyond.”
Agreeing, Yang Se Chan added, “Sometimes you need to put on the brakes. Se Hyung tells his mom, ‘This isn’t okay. We don’t earn money that easily.’ Then she realizes she might have overdone it.”
Yang Se Jong explained, “I also put the brakes properly. If it’s not okay, it’s really not okay. But I still care about her feelings,” showing his thoughtful and responsible side.
Meanwhile, Kim Kang Woo, known as the brother-in-law of actress Han Hye Jin, shared a funny personal story: “When I was newly married, I embarrassed my wife Han Mu Young because I wore the same underwear for too long.”
He added, “It was an item I was attached to. I think I wore it for 7 to 8 years,” surprising everyone.
Similarly, Kim Jong Kook joked, “Men usually wear underwear for a long time. I don’t mind small holes. I’ve never thrown away underwear. There’s a pair you get attached to because it fits so well.”
On another note, Yoo Jae Seok updated fans about Ji Ye Eun, who has been on a break since September due to health issues: “Ye Eun is receiving treatment. I talked to her on the phone and she said she’s feeling much better. It’s not related to the burnout she mentioned before.”
Ha Ha added, “It’s not burnout. She’s someone who works with full focus.”
