Actor Kim Kang Woo revealed a relatable side of his life as a father during his recent appearance on SBS’s Running Man.
On the October 12 episode, Kim Kang Woo joined Byun Yo Han, Yang Se Jong, and Bang Hyo Rin for the “World of Living in the Middle” race.
During the show, the actor opened up about his home life, revealing that he barely has any space to himself.
When Yang Se Chan asked if he had a personal area at home — joking that Haha uses the bathroom while Ji Suk Jin stays on the sofa — Kim Kang Woo replied, “I barely have any personal space either. I go to the library.”
He explained that with two sons, one in middle school and one in elementary school, it’s hard to find quiet time at home.
Song Ji Hyo also shared a personal story about the actor, saying, “I once went to a café and saw him there alone, reading a script. He told me he has no time to be alone at home.”
Kim Kang Woo laughed as he added, “I can’t focus when I’m at home”, showing his down-to-earth charm as a devoted dad who still finds time for his craft — even if it means escaping to a library or café for some peace and quiet.
