TV CHOSUN’s weekend drama “Confidence Queen” is making headlines for a surprising reason — despite strong buzz on streaming platforms, its TV ratings have hit an unexpected low just before the finale.
According to FlixPatrol, “Confidence Queen” ranked #2 on Coupang Play and even entered the Amazon Prime Worldwide TOP 10, proving its popularity among online viewers both in Korea and abroad.
However, its latest episode recorded only 0.7% in viewership ratings, marking the drama’s lowest point so far after weeks of staying around the 1% range.
The show stars Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon, and Joo Jong Hyuk, who have each showcased an impressive range of acting skills by taking on dozens of different disguises and personalities throughout the series. Their performances have been praised for keeping the story engaging despite fluctuating ratings.
With only one episode left, many are curious to see if “Confidence Queen” can bounce back for its final revenge-filled showdown and close its run on a high note.
The production team teased that the final two episodes will deliver “unpredictable developments and satisfying payoffs,” asking viewers to stay tuned until the very end.
“Confidence Queen” airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 p.m. on TV CHOSUN and Coupang Play.
