tvN’s new weekend drama "Typhoon Family" is ready to premiere, and stars Lee Jun Ho and Kim Min Ha shared their thoughts ahead of the first episode.
The drama, directed by Lee Na Jung and Kim Dong Hwi and written by Jang Hyun, will air its first episode on October 11 at 9:10 PM.
It tells the story of rookie company president Kang Tae Poong (Lee Jun Ho), who in 1997 during the IMF crisis suddenly becomes the head of a trading company with no employees, no money, and nothing to sell, as he struggles to grow and succeed.

Lee Jun Ho, who plays Kang Tae Poong, shared his excitement about the premiere: “"Typhoon Family" may have no employees, no money, and nothing to sell, but it’s full of excitement, romance, empathy, and comfort. I think both people who lived through 1997 and those who haven’t can enjoy this story together.”
Kim Min Ha, who plays ace accountant Oh Mi Seon, added: “The show has many things to remember about that era, realistic acting and stories from the 90s, and above all, a warmth that is the true point of Tae Poong Sang Sa.”
The production team said: “The first episode will open with the atmosphere just before the 1997 IMF crisis, showing the stories of people holding on to each other and enduring together. Please look forward to the premiere of Tae Poong Sang Sa, which will be full of laughter, tears, empathy, and comfort.”
