Actor Choi Woo Shik is taking on a new kind of character that fans haven’t seen from him before.
During the press conference for SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Would You Marry Me” on October 10, held at the SBS building in Mokdong, Seoul, Choi Woo Shik shared that his latest role is quite different from his usual ones.
The actor said, “I think both characters reflect parts of myself, but I feel closer to Woong. Still, there are also many similarities with Woo Joo, so I had fun playing him.”
He then revealed what makes this role special, saying, “This time, my character (Kim Woo Joo) is the richest one I’ve ever played."
He added, "I used to always run away or get chased in dramas, but now I drive nice cars, sleep in beautiful places, and live differently. I wanted to try a cool character, so I worked hard to show that side.”
“Would You Marry Me” follows a man and woman who pretend to be newlyweds for 90 days to win a luxury newlywed house. The drama premieres on October 10 at 9:50 p.m. (KST).
