DAY6’s drummer Dowoon has shared heartfelt words about the person he considers his life mentor — No Brain’s Lee Sung Woo.
On the October 1 broadcast of MBC’s Home Alone, Dowoon revealed more about his daily life and the people who shaped him.
During the show, he expressed deep gratitude to Lee Sung Woo, explaining how much the senior artist has influenced his journey.
Dowoon said, “He’s really like a thankful older brother to me. He’s the person I respect the most. Even when we weren’t famous, he always looked out for us. I want to follow his example and become a senior like him.”
Despite their 19-year age difference, Dowoon made it clear that it has never mattered to him. “I don’t really care about that kind of thing. Age is just a number, it doesn’t matter to me,” he added.
His touching words showed just how much Lee Sung Woo’s support meant to him, with fans praising their warm senior-junior bond and Dowoon’s sincerity in honoring his mentor.
