Park Bo Gum is once again proving his global influence as his stunning hanbok photos are being featured on major billboards across the world.
As part of the “Hanbok Wave” project, Park Bo Gum modeled specially designed hanbok created by four designers, blending traditional symbols with modern style.
This year marks the first time the project is highlighting men’s hanbok, with Park Bo Gum chosen as the sole model.

From the planning stage, the actor worked closely with the designers to bring out the elegance of Korean tradition while giving it a contemporary twist.

His photoshoot includes designs embroidered with hibiscus flowers, modern interpretations of Goguryeo clothing, and hanbok inspired by landscape paintings and classic silhouettes.

To celebrate Chuseok, the completed photo collection was turned into a video that will be displayed on massive billboards in global fashion hotspots including New York Times Square, Milan’s Duomo Square, Tokyo Shinjuku, and Paris Citadium Comartin.

In Korea, fans can also see it at the Myeongdong Shinsegae Square billboard from October 6 to 31.

A special Harper’s BAZAAR Korea edition featuring Park Bo Gum’s photos and interview will also be released on October 10, giving fans a deeper look into his collaboration with the designers.
With Park Bo Gum at the center, Hanbok Wave is bringing the beauty of modern men’s hanbok to audiences worldwide.
