Singer and actress Suzy has opened up about her true feelings after sweeping multiple Best Actress awards for her performance in Anna.
In a recent episode of Jo Hyun A’s Ordinary Thursday Night, Jo Hyun A revealed how emotional she was when Suzy won, saying, “On the day you received Best Actress, I cried while congratulating you. I even brought you flowers that never wither.”
Suzy admitted that the wins weren’t as easy to process as they looked, sharing, “You congratulated me so sincerely."
She added, "I was so happy too, but I couldn’t be purely happy. I felt like I met someone who was even happier for me than I was.”
She also confessed, “Thankfully I’ve received many awards before, but I often felt they weren’t truly mine, and it made me uncomfortable."
She added, "But with Anna, it felt like, ‘I’m glad I did this project,’ ‘You worked hard.’ It was a time when I could finally praise myself and feel recognized.”
Hearing her words, Jo Hyun A teared up and said, “You winning Best Actress was one of the most memorable moments in my life.”
