Actor Lee Jun Ho is coming back with tvN’s new weekend drama Typhoon Family, and many are curious if it can follow the huge success of YoonA’s Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.
YoonA’s drama became one of the biggest hits of 2025, reaching 17.1% nationwide ratings and even peaking at 20% in Seoul — the highest for any miniseries this year.
With such strong numbers, fans are now wondering if Lee Jun Ho’s Typhoon Family, premiering this month, can keep the momentum going.
When asked about YoonA, Lee Jun Ho revealed, “The actors from King the Land have a group chat, and we congratulated her and said how amazing it was.”
He continued, “Since her drama was such a global success, of course people might expect a lot from ours too. I want to continue that good energy, but our focus is to tell our story well and concentrate on the filming.”
On the topic of chasing another big hit, Lee Jun Ho admitted, “Of course, I always want that. Everyone has desires. But I believe good timing, good people, and good stories all come together for success. Most importantly, I want to enjoy filming, because sincerity always shows on screen.”
His co-star Kim Min Ha also shared, “I’m 100% ambitious. We poured our hearts into this story, and I hope that sincerity reaches the viewers.”
Typhoon Family, starring Lee Jun Ho and Kim Min Ha, will premiere on October 11 at 9:10 p.m. KST, following the success of YoonA’s Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.
