Following the massive success of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, tvN is gearing up to launch its new weekend drama Typhoon Family, starring Lee Jun Ho and Kim Min Ha.
On September 29, the production team revealed a group poster featuring Lee Jun Ho, Kim Min Ha, Lee Chang Hoon, Kim Jae Hwa, Kim Song Il, and Lee Sang Jin.
The drama tells the story of Kang Tae Pung (played by Lee Jun Ho), a rookie businessman who suddenly finds himself as the president of a struggling trading company during the 1997 IMF crisis.
With no money, no employees, and nothing to sell, he must fight to survive with the help of his loyal team.
Lee Jun Ho shared his thoughts on the strong cast chemistry, saying, “The people of Typhoon Family are truly a reassuring team without a doubt."
He added, "From script practice, I felt their honest and cheerful energy, and on set, the realistic humor and details really stood out. Like family on the same boat, we rely on each other and are filming happily.”
Kim Min Ha also expressed excitement, adding, “Every time I filmed with the Typhoon Family staff, there was never an end to laughter… "
She added, "I learned and was inspired a lot by my seniors. Please look forward to the teamwork of Typhoon Family’s staff. It’s really fun and full of deep emotion.”
Typhoon Family will premiere on October 11 as the official follow-up to Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.
