Suzy had fans cracking up with her honest story about her younger brother’s request for allowance.
On September 27, Suzy appeared in a new video on the YouTube channel Ddeun Ddeun.
During the talk, she shared that she has an older sister and a younger brother, explaining, “I get along well with my sister. With my younger brother, it’s not that we don’t get along, but we don’t talk often.”
She added, “He’s really kind and has a lot of aegyo (cuteness). But since he works in the Gyeonggi-do area, we can’t see each other often.”
MC Yoo Jae Suk then asked her about her most recent chat with her brother. Suzy made everyone laugh as she revealed, “He asked me for allowance."
She added, "He wrote, ‘Noona ♥♥♥. Are you busy filming? ♥♥ I’m doing well too ♥♥’, and kept sending hearts. Then he said, ‘These days I have to spend on this and that ♥♥ but don’t tell mom, it’s a secret.’”
When Yoo Jae Suk asked if she gave him the money, Suzy replied, “I told him, ‘Go ask mom instead,’” causing even more laughter.
Yang Se Chan chimed in, joking, “After all those hearts, I thought you would at least give him something.”
Suzy explained her reason, saying, “I think it should be transparent. I wanted everything to go through mom, because otherwise he could get it from both me and mom.” She added that she does give him allowance “sometimes.”
When asked about his reaction, Suzy said, “He just replied, ‘Okay ♥.’” Yoo Jae Suk praised her brother’s good nature, while Yang Se Chan laughed and added, “That’s why he keeps sending hearts. He has to keep them coming.”
