Han Sun Hwa couldn’t hold back her emotions after receiving a touching long text message from Kang Ha Neul.
On September 25, the cast and crew of the upcoming movie First Ride gathered at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Seoul for the official production briefing. Director Nam Dae Joong, along with Kang Ha Neul, Kim Young Kwang, Kang Young Seok, and Han Sun Hwa, were all in attendance.
During the event, Kang Ha Neul shared how much he appreciated his co-star and explained why he sent her a heartfelt message after filming wrapped.
He said, “To start with a compliment for Sun Hwa, she prepared so much that her script was worn out. She said she got a lot of help from me, but honestly, the fact that she worked so hard was already a great thing for the film. I was really thankful for that.”
He added, “After our shoot in Thailand, she had to go back to Korea early for another drama, but she even left gifts for all of us. I’m not the type to send many messages, but I poured out all my thoughts from the beginning of the movie and told her I was thankful for the way she prepared for every single scene.”
Hearing this, Han Sun Hwa was moved to tears and shared her side, saying, “When I left early for Seoul, I sent thank-you messages to all the oppas. Even though it was a short time, we became very close. Ha Neul oppa was our leader, and I relied on him a lot in acting.”
She added, “When I read the message he sent me, I thought, ‘I’ll keep this in my heart and work hard at the next filming site too.’”
