Girls’ Generation’s YoonA is winning hearts on and off screen with a small but touching act of kindness on the set of tvN’s Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.
On September 22, the mother of Kim Kang Yoon (who plays Jin Myeong Daegun) shared a monitor clip from episode 9 on SNS, writing, “I’ve wanted to upload this video since the day of filming.”
In the clip, YoonA (Yeon Ji Young) is seen gently shooing away bugs for Kim Kang Yoon during a late-night shoot.
The mom added, “We started in the daytime and filmed into the night… At night, bugs were swarming the lights and bothering the actors. When they came near Jin Myeong, she personally handled them.”
She even apologized for the trouble, saying she felt sorry to make such a kind “Yeon Ji Young” go through it.
YoonA continues to draw praise for her layered performance as Yeon Ji Young, a French chef who time-slips to the past and meets the feared tyrant king Lee Heon (Lee Chae Min), known for his absolute palate.
In the latest episode, her heartfelt whole roasted chicken for Jin Myeong Daegun gets twisted by the schemes of Kang Mok Joo (Kang Han Na) and Je San Daegun (Choi Gwi Hwa), leading to a shocking punishment—and raising curiosity for what comes next.
