Taemin is once again proving why he’s considered one of the most legendary performers in K-pop.
On September 15, it was officially announced that the SHINee member will take the stage as a solo artist at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2026. He is set to perform on April 11 and April 18, marking a historic milestone in his career.
This makes Taemin the first Korean male soloist ever invited to Coachella, a festival known as one of the biggest and most prestigious stages in the world — reserved for artists with strong live skills and undeniable global influence.
Since debuting with SHINee in 2008, Taemin has built an extraordinary career not only as a group member but also as a powerhouse soloist.
With multiple hit albums, a successful world tour across 20 countries, and sold-out dome concerts, he has consistently pushed boundaries with his music, performances, and artistry.
Reflecting on his journey during his METAMORPH solo concert last year, Taemin shared, “I want to show everything I’ve prepared and set another career high. I want to prove that Taemin is still soaring and more alive than ever.”
Now, with his historic Coachella debut ahead, Taemin is cementing his legacy as one of the greatest K-pop soloists of all time.
